COMENTARIO Voltops fue el nombre de un programa de la televisión argentina que comenzó a emitirse por canal 9 en 1971 y difundía canciones del sello discográfico CBS. Su estructura era similar a la de otros programas como Sótano beat (1969/1971), Música en libertad (1970/1974), Alta tensión (1971/1973), Tip top (1972) y Hola gente, hola música (1975). En Voltops se mostraba a un grupo de jóvenes de ambos sexos bailando en estudios, alternándose con imágenes grabadas (suerte de primitivos video-clips), ilustrando las canciones que se escuchaban. Al programa eran invitados, también, músicos y cantantes para promocionar sus discos. En el transcurso de esos años, CBS utilizó el nombre del programa para editar una serie de exitosas compilaciones. Una curiosidad. La chica de la tapa de este disco es Cris Morena.
