COMENTARIO
Estas grabaciones pertenecen a la época dorada del Cotton Club. La orquesta de Duke Elington ya sonaba distinta al resto y sus solistas como Cootie Williams, Johnny Hodges, Barney Bigard y Harry Carney,entre otros, comenzaban a forjar la leyenda.
La curiosidad de la grabación de "St. Louis Blues" con Bing Crosby define el gran momento comercial que empezaba a vivir la orquesta de Ellington.
Un álbum imprescindible.
