COMENTARIO

Como cantante Fred Astaire definió el Great American Songbook, a partir de los años 30 con las grandes canciones de George e Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, y Jerome Kern.

En éste álbum la cantante Stacey Kent le rinde un muy buen homenaje a Astaire con su tono de voz a lo Dinah Washington pero light. Kent se destaca tanto en las baladas como en el swing.
A la banda de acompañamiento le sobra estilo y flexibilidad para moverse muy cómoda entre las melodías y los ritmos.
