COMENTARIO

Con la producción Tommy LiPuma, Paul McCartney trabajó con la banda y arreglos de Diana Krall además de grandes músicos del jazz como John Clayton. 

Aquí McCartney solo toca la guitarra acústica en dos temas, "Get Yourself Another Fool" and "The Inch Worm", y después se dedica a cantar dejando la música a cargo de la banda de Diana Krall.

 

"My Valentine" incluye a Eric Clapton en la guitarra, mientras que Stevie Wonder aparece en "Only Our Hearts".

El título del álbum, "Kisses on the Bottom", procede de un verso de la primera canción del disco, "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself A Letter" ("I'm gonna write words so sweet, they're gonna knock me off my feet, a lot of kisses on the bottom, I'll be glad I got them").

"Kisses on the Bottom" se traduce al castellano como: "Besos al pie de una carta"; sin embargo también puede traducirse literalmente como "besos en el culo".

Es un álbum íntimo ideal para escucharlo en plan de relax.
